As an artist, David has been intrigued with the diversity and
color that landscapes offer. He believes that the landscape and the
human effect on the environment offer the artist diversity of forms,
textures, and colors. David also enjoys working with architectural
imagery and its unity, or lack of unity, with the surrounding
landscape. Over the years, the paintings vary in style from
realistic to nonrepresentational. He finds that Maine, Vermont,
Florida and the southwestern United States provide diverse and
contrasting subject matter. David is a free spirit setting out
to develop his own style in painting and in the new art forms
inspired by technology and objects around him.
All artwork on these pages may purchased by contacting the artist
via email or telephone. Some of the pieces represent one work in
a related series. Currently, his watercolors of Maine scenes are
on display at West Quoddy Lighthouse Gallery, Lubec, Maine.
